Se telefonando... - Calling...

Ok, now that I've just recovered me from the shock, I can tell it: great implamoment!!! Two days ago I was at home all alone, no noises at all, total quiet (Florence is a desert in these days...), what could I do? What if I try to use the telephone calling Mom? Go for it!

Telephone. Beep beep beep.. (keyboard tones).

Ringing phone noise...ok, I can hear it through the mic, checked.

Noise.

"Hello?"

OHHMMYGAWD! Mom's voice in the phone... I barely can hold back tears. I understand very little but I can clearly hear Mom laughing. I just catched up one phrase, she was saying "It's so good here, we're chilling out" (she was at mountain on holidays).

"Mom, what beautiful, you said that it's so good there, I understood it! Sorry but I must hang up, because I'm starting to weep".

And then, a beautiful liberating weep, "Broken Dam" style. I was astonished I start weeping so much, then I thought about these last months, and I realized that I never gave vent to my feelings I accumulated, not even the day they activated my CI. Ok, I was heartly moved, but I never wept as two days ago, not yet. A beautiful cathartic moment!

I must to find out the way to go to Australia to meet Mr. Clark!

Cicale, cicale su tutte le frequenze - Cicadas, cicadas on all frequencies

Bella conquista, no?

Ah, e comunque io preferisco i grilli.

A post in a hurry, just to say that on last Tuesday I did my first audi test with CI, I scored 30-40 dB on all frequencies. A good goal, isn't it?

Ah, and since I hear cicadas almost *everywhere*, even when I'm driving with windows down, I put on this video in order to make them nice to me, or at last I try to do it... (see above)

See ya soon! Ah, anyhow, crickets are my favourite.
